Letters from Fukushima is a pretty riveting piece of reporting coming out of the Wall Street Journal.
Its easy to move on and forget about these types of disasters as the danger seems to fade. We seem to lose sight that the plight of others like us a world away don’t just end when the news coverage does. Here in Seattle and LA it seems like a lot of people are moving on from the obsessed fascination with the earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear fall out caused by the disasters.
Reading this little bit of correspondence reminded me that these things keep going, and our help is still needed. We all can contribute something, whether or not you’re a web designer, or a small business, or a major corporation. Pitch in, and make sure we don’t forget.
