We had the opportunity to work with TRUE linkswear beginning in late 2011. A startup company at just over one-and-a-half years old, TRUE was revolutionizing the very traditional golf footwear market with an innovative product oriented around style and comfort. Their previous e-commerce site was built for a startup company: easy to use, limited feature set, with a goal of having a platform ready for consumers as quickly as possible. Now that the brand had matured and its reputation had spread, they needed a more powerful e-commerce platform to carry them into the next decade.
Coalition came on board early and addressed a number of issues overlooked by the other agencies bidding on the project. By providing a comprehensive strategy ranging from site design and development, to search, to social, to email, and on into mobile, TRUE found its chosen provider.
The new TRUE linkswear site, built on the Magento platform, features a host of impressive features and has automated the company's direct-to-consumer fulfillment processes. Additionally, the site allows TRUE to engage new courses, new professionals, and new pro shops on their own terms with specialized customer group structures and features.
The result has been an increase in conversion rate of over 1 percent and an impressive first half of 2012 with sales exceeding all predictions.
