We decided to use the Shopify platform, as it is perfect for e-commerce. Shopify was also ideal because it allowed us to create a look that works for Tokahi, and Shopify is also easy to manage. This is important because clothing companies tend to have evolving inventories, so it’s essential that updates can be made without professional intervention. The result is a website that immediately makes you want to take a trip to the beach, and look good while doing so.
The Design
Tokahi is clearly a lifestyle brand, so we needed to make a website that falls right in line with the company’s image. The home page is full of high-quality photos of people smiling and enjoying the beach while wearing Tokahi clothing. We believe that shoppers will appreciate seeing the clothing in action, rather than having to wonder what the clothing actually looks like on a person. We also connected Tokahi’s Instagram account to the front page so they can attract new followers with fresh, regularly updated content.
