KILLSPENCER is the brainchild of Spencer Nikosey, a Los Angeles based industrial designer. A graduate of the Art Center College of Design, Nikosey has an eye for style, and it shows through in his products. As Nikosey explains it, the company began as a personal project to craft the perfect sustainable and waterproof backpack, and has since blossomed into a fulltime business. Coalition is proud to be partnered with this up-and-coming icon of men’s fashion.
KILLSPENCER is a designer of high-quality men’s bags and accessories. Based in Los Angeles, the
company prides itself on assembling stylish and durable designs, all of which are made entirely in the

The company initially contacted Coalition in early 2012. They were eager to set up their online store and had a very specific design vision for their site. We suggested that they use the Magento platform for their e-commerce store, based on their need for custom workflow management, integrations with shipping providers for live quotes, live tracking, and custom notification.
After gaining a detailed sense of the company’s vision and goals, we developed their e-commerce site using the Magento Community Edition. We provided custom integrations with the KILLSPENCER workshop, USPS, UPS, Shipworks, Quickbooks, and more. We also built in a custom monogram pricing tool, custom slide shows, and even gift certificate functionality.
We completed the project on schedule and the client was extremely satisfied with our work. In addition to providing continued support for the site, we may continue working with the company on email marketing campaigns, which will encourage even greater sales and help KILLSPENCER to become a truly unstoppable force in the world of men’s style.
