With the ultimate goal of increasing revenue, this aquarium supplier wanted to see more traffic to the site along with site improvements to increase conversions.
In order to meet Modern Aquarium’s goals, we wrote and published optimized copy, added search and cart icons to their mobile site, and updated the homepage navigation menu to show vertical categories. We also fixed an issue with extra gray area during searches, fixed issues with the side menu, and updated the mobile categories’ design.
In comparison to last year, the site is receiving 5,092% more organic sessions, from 364 organic sessions in the previous year to 18,899 sessions this year. There has also been a 8,247% increase in organic new users, for a total of 12,521 this month. Overall, there was a 426% increase in traffic to the site this month compared to last year with sessions increasing from 11,772 sessions to 61,932. Compared to this time last year, organic revenue has increased from $615 to $32k, representing a 5,119% increase and the quantity of organic transactions has increased by 2,443%. Overall revenue has increased by 797% since last year, increasing from $13k in overall revenue last year to $112k in overall revenue this year with overall transactions increasing from 353% since last year.
