Dash Forward began by running their business on a free Shopify template that had workable but simple features and functionality. They reached out to Coalition to help grow their business through SEO and through designing a user friendly website that met their needs. They needed easy features that would allow their customers to enter their personalized information when needed and needed their boutique customers to easily filter the website for items that are available in their desired sizes and styles.
We completed the initial web build on their new Shopify site and then began on SEO. A few important SEO tasks that led to their success include creating an optimized homepage and category pages with additional content sections to increase site visitor engagement, creating a Frequently Asked Questions page to address customers’ major questions and primary concerns, and adding product schema, business information schema, and local business schema to improve SERP appearance and click-through rate.
We also identified and addressed title tag and H1 issues to adhere to search engine optimization best practices, completed a thorough conversion rate optimization analysis to identify opportunities to improve customer interaction with the site and overall conversions, and designed and implemented an email capture popup form with a discounted offer to entice visitors to sign up for the company newsletter and become returning customers.
In the first ten months, our team wrote optimized copy for 60 pages, including the Homepage, category pages, and sub-category pages. We completed 12 optimized blog posts focusing on evergreen products and seasonal collections. Additionally, we optimized metadata for 70 best-selling products. Optimizing website copy with relevant, informative, and engaging content and highly targeted keywords has double organic search traffic in 2021.
We launched Dash Forward’s new site on March 11, 2021. During our regularly scheduled meeting in early April, the client reported that the month of March was her highest earning month ever.
One month later, we launched Dash Forward’s PPC campaign. In the first 30 days, Dash forward earned $1,262.65 in revenue from paid search traffic. In the most recent month, the business generated $5,261.83 in revenue from its PPC campaign, a 316.73% increase over the first 30 days.
After working with Dash Forward for 10 months, site traffic as a result of organic search has more than doubled.
