UAG approached Coalition in the spring of 2013, eager to find a way to carve out its own brand identity within the crowded Apple accessories market. After having successfully grown its business through Amazon's market, Urban Armor Gear wanted to build greater customer loyalty and brand awareness. However without a meaningful ecommerce presence, they had yet to succeed.
Coalition worked with the UAG leadership team to identify key market opportunities beyond Amazon. We then began to plan, design, and develop a Shopify store around those opportunities. By focusing on the marketing and sales capabilities of the website first, we were confident that our efforts would result in a meaningful outcome.
Within the first six months of the new website’s launch and continued marketing efforts for Urban Armor Gear, Coalition’s work provided an 868% return on investment. Growth was driven through a tripling of the site conversion rate and a significant increase in traffic through organic search results.
