Renove Medical Spa, a premier aesthetics and wellness clinic in Kingwood, Texas, aimed to enhance its online presence and drive more patient bookings. After migrating from Patient Pop’s CMS to WordPress, the spa needed improvements to its website structure, search engine optimization (SEO), and conversion rate optimization (CRO) to attract more local clients.

Problem
Following the website migration, Renove Medical Spa faced several challenges that impacted its ability to generate leads and convert visitors into patients. One of the primary issues was low booking conversions, as the “Book Now” button was not prominently placed or easily accessible. Additionally, the website lacked proper SEO optimization, including missing internal links, outdated content, and a lack of structured data, which made it difficult for search engines to rank the site effectively.
Navigation and user experience also needed improvement. Several pages were missing, some redirected to broken links, and the navigation menu was not sticky, which affected usability. Another key challenge was the spa’s limited local reach. There was no verified Google Business Profile (GBP), making it harder for potential clients in Kingwood and surrounding areas to find the clinic. Furthermore, many service pages did not have dedicated contact forms, making it more difficult for visitors to take the next step toward booking a consultation.

Solution
To address these issues, we implemented a series of strategic improvements across the website and its online presence. The pricing page was redesigned to provide clearer information and a more intuitive layout.
Contact forms were added to all service pages, ensuring that website visitors had an easy way to inquire about treatments. These forms were also updated to redirect users to a thank-you page, allowing for better tracking of conversions in Google Analytics. To improve user experience, the website’s navigation menu was made sticky, allowing visitors to access important links at all times.


Search Engine Optimization
SEO played a critical role in our approach. We conducted in-depth keyword research to refine the website’s content and align it with search intent. Missing pages were addressed with 301 redirects, while new internal links were added to create a stronger website structure. Local business schema markup was implemented to enhance visibility in search results, along with breadcrumb navigation and video schema to improve indexing and presentation in Google searches. Additionally, we launched an outreach campaign to secure high-authority backlinks, strengthening the website’s credibility and boosting its search rankings.
To further expand the spa’s local reach, we claimed and optimized Renove Medical Spa’s Google Business Profile by updating descriptions, refining categories, and ensuring accurate business details. This helped increase visibility in local search results and made it easier for nearby potential clients to find and engage with the business.

Results
Our efforts resulted in significant improvements across multiple key performance indicators. Website traffic saw a notable increase, with total engaged sessions growing by 36.3% year-over-year (YoY) and total sessions increasing by 37.3%. When comparing the last 90-day period with the same period in the previous year, total website sessions rose by 30%, while the total event count surged by 73.6%.

Organic search performance also improved, with an organic event count increasing month-over-month (MoM) and YoY. Additionally, organic active users and new users grew MoM and YoY. The website’s average search ranking position improved, allowing it to appear higher in search results. Six months into the partnership, Renove Medical Spa went from ranking for 396 keywords to 1,063. Keywords in top 3 positions grew by 66.7%, with significant gains in positions 4-10 and second-page rankings. The spa saw a 47.1% increase in new SERP featured snippets gained for the website within the first six months of our campaign. Visibility gains were also reflected in an increase in impressions and a rise in clicks.
There were improvements seen in key conversion rate metrics. Organic Click-through rate (CTR) improved by 12%, showing stronger user engagement. More website visitors engaged with the “Book Now” button, leading to higher appointment inquiries.
