Overview
Cummins Logistics, a Southern California warehousing company with more than 15 years of experience, needed a website that reflected its evolution from a transportation and logistics provider to a warehousing-focused business.
They came to us to migrate their custom website to WordPress and update the site to better reflect its focus on warehousing. See how we migrated the website to WordPress, created optimized content around its warehousing services, and supported the brand with SEO, AI SEO, and PPC to improve visibility and attract better-qualified leads.
Problem

Peralta Associates & Defense is a California-based private security company offering armed and unarmed security, investigations, fire watch, event security, uniforms and accessories, and professional training for public and private sector clients. Since launching in 2019, they’ve built a reputation for being reliable, transparent, and hands-on in how they operate.
When they rebranded from North Security to Peralta Associates & Defense, they needed to rebuild recognition under a new name without losing visibility or leads in the process.
The website wasn’t keeping up. Their range of services, security, investigations, training, and ecommerce were all there but didn’t feel connected and were sometimes hard to find altogether.
Visibility was another challenge. Competing in California’s security market meant going up against companies with stronger SEO footprints. Peralta needed consistent search presence and the right kind of traffic, not just more of it.
Underneath all of it was a measurement gap. Tracking wasn’t giving a clear picture of what was working, which made confident scaling nearly impossible.
The brief was straightforward: rebuild the site, improve visibility, make lead generation more consistent, and set things up so growth wouldn’t break the system later.

Solution

Web Design & Development
We rebuilt the site with one goal: make everything easier to understand and easier to act on. Services, investigations, training, and products were laid out more clearly, with a more direct path to contact. Dedicated service and location pages were added so Peralta could show up in the right searches across California, and a more developed training and investigations section gave users the detail they needed before reaching out.
Navigation was simplified with a custom mega menu, cutting down the time it takes to move through the site.
Integrations
We kept the contact system intentionally lightweight. Gravity Forms was styled to match the client’s preferences and tested on different devices to make sure submissions worked as expected. For a lead generation site like this, that moment of contact is where a lot of value is either gained or lost.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Our SEO strategy was focused on one thing: making sure Cummins Logistics shows up for what they actually offer now.
We optimized page copy, metadata, and structure around warehousing-related searches. We also improved how content is structured across the site so it’s easier for both users and search engines to navigate and understand.
Alongside the on-site work, we expanded Cummins Logistics’ online presence through local citations, directory listings, and industry-specific profiles. We also strengthened the site’s internal linking, making it easier for visitors to navigate between related services while giving search engines clearer pathways through the site.
For local SEO, we optimized the Google Business Profile and cleaned up existing citations. Our team also reviewed competing listings, and verified that business information was consistent anywhere Cummins Logistics appeared online.
AI SEO
Instead of relying only on traditional keyword targeting, we rewrote key pages using the kind of natural language people now use when searching in tools such as ChatGPT and Perplexity. The result is content that’s easier to understand whether someone arrives through a search engine or an AI-powered search experience.
We also improved how services are described so key information is easier for AI systems to interpret and surface when relevant. The focus wasn’t just rankings, but making the business easier to understand across newer search options.

Pay Per Click (PPC) Ads
Our PPC team created dedicated landing pages for specific warehousing services and built campaigns around those pages. Each ad led users to a focused message with a clear next step. Implementing this made sure that traffic was more relevant, and that inquiries were more likely to become actual conversations.
